Residential Carpet Cleaning Services in Morris

Premium Residential Carpet Deep Cleaning

Everyday life has a way of showing up in your carpet. Foot traffic brings in dirt and debris, pets leave a fur trail, accidental spills happen, and life leaves a trail down the hallway. In Morris, Illinois, weather also adds to the frenzy—spring rain, summer dust, fallen leaves, and winter salt can all find their way indoors, adding to the evidence of life well-lived.

Vacuuming helps maintain the top of the carpet, but debris can settle deep into the carpet fibers, leaving the carpet looking dull, matted, and not as soft as it once was.

A Guy in a Truck helps Morris homeowners refresh their carpet with a truck-mounted cleaning system designed to lift embedded dirt, debris, and accumulated soil and leave your carpet looking fresh, fluffier, and softer than you thought was possible! When you’re searching for residential carpet cleaning near me, you want more than clean carpet—you want a team you can feel comfortable inviting into your home.

Our Carpet Cleaning Process

  • 1: Walk-Thru

We do this with every customer to address any areas of concern, take measurements, determine the best cleaning process for the carpet and set clear expectations of results prior to cleaning. (A black light will also be used to identify pet areas to be treated.)

  • 2: Prep & Protection

We use floor/corner protection & our Orange Seal-A-Door covering as needed.

  • 3: Vacuum

We will vacuum using our HEPA vacuum so dust and any harmful particulates do not become airborne. This is also done to lift the pile of the carpet to prepare it for pre-spray and cleaning.

  • 4: Pre-Spray

We use a pre-spray to break down any soiling or sticky substances left behind by spills or foot traffic that were not removed with vacuuming.

  • 5: Scrubbing

We use a Counter Rotating Brush Machine (CRB) to work in the pre-spray, lift the carpet pile and pull out deeply embedded soil from the backing of the carpet. This step helps to restore the original look and feel of your carpet pile.

  • 6: Cleaning

We clean using a truck mounted Hot Water Extraction System (commonly referred to as "steam cleaning") and specialty cleaning tools along with cleaning agents designed specifically for your carpet type.

  • 7: Carpet Protector (Optional)

This is an optional add-on. A protector like Scotchgard is applied to the carpet after the cleaning. This application helps protect the carpet fibers from wear, staining and can actually improve your vacuuming efficiency. Your carpet will look great and last longer!

This application (on wall-to-wall installed carpet only) also includes a 12-month Spot & Spill Warranty. For more information, check the FAQ section below.

  • 8: Grooming

As needed, we will rake through the carpet to lift the pile and help the carpet to dry more evenly.

Key Benefits of Choosing A Guy in a Truck

Professional carpet cleaning reaches below the surface where regular vacuuming can fall short.

  • A Deeper Clean. Embedded soil, dust, and debris are lifted from the carpet fibers rather than left behind, and carpet fibers are fluffed and revived!
  • Less Wear From Trapped Grit. Small particles within the carpet cause wear and dulling of the carpet fibers. Regularly removing that buildup helps your carpet last and look great for a long time!
  • A Fresher-Feeling Home. Deep cleaning removes accumulated soil that can cause a less-than-fresh look and feel. Clean carpet immediately solves all of this!
  • Brighter-Looking Carpet. Dirt and residue make carpet dull and uninviting. Enjoy your home again with clean, comfortable carpet!
  • Friendly, Respectful Service. We take our job seriously. Everything we do is to help you be comfortable in your own home, so we’ll let you know what to expect, your belongings will be respected, and we’ll always provide our best service!
